Assist with department scheduling and ordering supplies; ensure that guest checks are handled accurately, efficiently and in compliance with company policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervise and guide restaurant staff to execute table service and event function reservation forms. Adjust schedule for restaurant staff to meet the demands of our guests. Train, develop and evaluate restaurant staff via written and oral communication. Practice and promote guest satisfaction. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel: Assist other staff as needed. Additional duties as necessary and assigned. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and be able to demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job: Must be able to read, speak, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Extensive knowledge of the Bordeaux & meeting facilities, its services and facilities. As well as thorough knowledge of both menu and wine list. Must have excellent guest service skills. Must be detailed oriented with outstanding organization and communication skills. Must possess basic computational abilities. Must be able to accept and give constructive criticism, follow work rules, work as part of a team and get along with others.
