JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies for major channel partner, The Home Depot. Areas of responsibility include marketing strategies, marketing communications, new product introductions, promotional activity and coordination across all Home Depot sales channels (stores, internet, PRO, installed sales), and for all Division product channels (residential and commercial).
Will coordinate the development of marketing strategies for Home Depot with the goal of meeting pre-defined profitability and unit shipment objectives. In coordination with the Business Director, Retail you will incorporate segmentation strategies, product plans, pricing strategies, account strategies and marketing communications.
Will work with Corporate Marketing Communications, Social Media and other functional areas to develop a cohesive messaging across all Home Depot channels and lead implementation of branding and marketing activities related to Home Depot.
Will coordinate with The Home Depot Marketing Team and Merchant, and Business Director, Retail in developing and maintaining a 1-2year promotional plan to include advertising, sales promotions, new product introductions and other campaigns designed to increase sales and improve the overall customer experience.
A four-yeardegree is required, with a strong preference for Marketing. Position requires a minimum of 5-7years of related marketing experience. Should have experience in a marketing role dealing with pricing, product strategies, promotions, etc. Must have superior verbal and written skills, along with strong presentation skills. Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies/proposals is a big plus.
