JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SALARY: $60K - $70K + bonus + relocation
Directly drives sales and profits for a multi-unit area of convenience store locations. Oversees and ensures that the overall condition of all stores comply with company standards including; cleanliness, foodservices, store and food sanitation, customer service and merchandising -- thereby maximizing store profitability, expense control, inventory levels and shortage control -- assures great customer service / experience. Fosters a coaching environment where team members want to excel and are recognized for their achievements.
Areas of responsibility include:
Drives sales and profits for a large scope of high volume, complex locations.
Coaches/develops Store and General Managers on establishing plans to help them achieve goals.
Conducts regular store visits to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Ensures that all labor management tools are effectively implemented and that Area labor targets are achieved. Ensures that allocated store staffing hours are properly scheduled to provide the best level of customer service.
Analyze financial data, including but not limited to, store profit and loss statements, product movement, shift analysis, labor management, merchandise and cash shortage, and all other available data to ensure area sales and profits are maximized.
Conducts, attends, and actively participates in monthly Division meetings.
Maintains 100% in-stock operational excellence on top selling items.
Ensures Store operations are current on product offerings and promotions.
Builds strong, sales focused teams through recruiting, hiring, training and coaching to develop top performing team members.
Coaches and supervises team members in all store responsibilities.
Coaches team members on how to handle difficult and complicated situations.
Sets high standards and demands excellence in execution from store management team. Sets goals and objectives for area that will ensure exceptional financial results. Monitors the performance and results of store management team and makes necessary modifications.
Effectively manage direct reports through effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring. Execute Human Resource programs within area and ensure proper staffing levels through the selection, recruitment, training, development, and evaluation of qualified Store Managers. Anticipate and address issues that may contribute to excessive turnover.
Ensures all human resources policies and procedures are maintained, timely and accurate, including performance reviews, compensation transactions, new-hires, terminations, leaves, employee relations, safety and legal compliance matters.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Preference given to candidates with Bachelor's Degree
Minimum three (3) years multi-unit retail management experience is _required_.
Demonstrated leadership skills/competencies are required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Mathematical and analytical skills, including P Stores operate 24 hours a day
