We are looking for a specific individual with Marriott and Hilton experience.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Accountable for managing rooms and function space inventory for the hotel. Ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize total hotel revenues and profits. Ensures that all rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel's inventory systems. Assists with the hotel sales strategy and pricing for transient, group and catering and ensures both are effectively implemented. Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: Manage room authorizations, rates and restrictions for the hotel (e.g., group ceiling maintenance, forecast book maintenance, etc.) Manage function space authorizations, restrictions, and rental rates for the hotel Serve as an inventory and restriction expert to person performing the business evaluation and revenue analysis functions. Loading and maintaining of both transient and group rates across the systems Participation in preparation and execution of weekly sell strategy information Preparation of regional monthly reports and occasional presentations Continuous business evaluation and analysis of competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality and mix Ensure that the hotel's sales strategies are effectively implemented in the inventory systems Accountable for weekly rooms and function space forecast Technical Skills: Required: experience with at least two of the following: Marriott, Hilton, or Ihg systems Expert knowledge of revenue management systems and inventory management systems for group, transient and catering segment Excellent inventory knowledge of function space and sleeping rooms to include the impact of varied setup styles, function setup/tear down times, configuration of movable walls, etc. Excellent knowledge of revenue management concepts, tactics, and processes Ability to identify and communicate revenue and profit opportunities Understands brand strategies and culture Strong leadership skills Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm Manages group or interpersonal conflict situations effectively Uses problem-solving methodology for decision making and follow-up Excellent deductive reasoning Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills Excellent organizational skills Concise and good follow-through with projects and processes Ability to multi-task ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS: College Degree or equivalent experience preferred EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:One Year of prior hotel revenue experience as a Revenue Analyst, Business Evaluator, Revenue Assistant, or Sales Manager Benefits : Health Insurance Options, PTO, Discount Hotel Accommodations (ref. 15005)
