The Revenue Operations Manager will lead revenue forecasting for Varian's Oncology business unit in the America s. The candidate is expected to be highly analytical and an effective communicator capable of influencing across functional teams. They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and have a proven track of providing sound recommendations and insights based on detailed business analysis. Responsibilities: Partner with the America s GEO teams (Sales, Sales Operations and Site Solutions organizations) to deliver highly accurate revenue forecasting. Effectively assess and communicate upsides and risks to the forecast. Lead escalation meetings to mitigate risks and secure upsides to the forecast. Monitor backlog data for revenue impact due to Post Acceptance terms, FX and/or changes in project timeline estimates. Conduct segmentation and analysis of the revenue backlog using in-depth knowledge of Varian s revenue recognition policy to accurately forecast the timing of revenue recognition. Drive the development of reporting capabilities by building dashboards and other summaries for management; manage KPIs, communicate results and insightful metrics in a timely manner. Prepare monthly variance analysis and revenue reconciliation between backlog data, general ledger and previous forecasts. Ensure proper Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) documentation is kept up to-date for scoping, testing, and remediation of all key control activities. Support the annual budget process and monthly forecasts by maintaining the financial modeling and advanced analytics. Identify opportunities to improve processes, planning, analysis and reporting which includes leveraging information technology to drive improvements. Perform ad hoc revenue forecasting, analysis and modeling as required. Work collaboratively with fellow team members and cross functionally to drive forecasting accuracy.

Experience with revenue recognition principles and issues.
Bachelor s degree and 12 years of related business operations, forecasting or finance experience.
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, BI, SAP and QlikView.
