Research and reconcile all un-planned revenue reductions. Properly match all planned (accrued) revenue reductions. Drive accountability throughout the organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned as necessary)
*Accurate Cash Application
*Review and write up credits for approval by Sales department.
*Process credits and match appropriate source documents
*Call Customers, Drivers, Brokers, and/or Sales concerning deductions as necessary.
*Access customer s websites for deduction documents.
*Send deduction reports to Sales.
*Work through special projects concerning deductions and customer promotions
*Meet with or call Salesmen monthly to evaluate deductions.
*Forward documents to customers as necessary.
*Keep Supervisor informed on status of accounts or issues.
*Work in a team atmosphere on department goals. Assist others in the department when needed.
*Work closely with Customer Experience group to drive accountability regarding all processes related to event creation and proper reconciliation.
*Report weekly on P&L accuracy and set benchmarks to measure improvement.
*Other responsibilities may include: Deduction analysis / trend reporting, basic Sales reporting, accrual management, etc.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Experience & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Preferred Strong Written & verbal communication skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Collaborative team player
*Associates or Bachelor s degree in a related field or two years related experience and/or training.
*Excellent computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, Excel in particular
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Strong analytical skills
*Ability to work independently and with individuals from multiple disciplines and with varying levels of experience.
