The Risk Management & Patient Safety Manager-R.N. has the authority and responsibility for development and implementation of the risk management program. Primary functions are: identification of risks that could potentially result in a loss, analysis of risk, risk control interventions and monitoring the effectiveness of the interventions and the program.
Position Qualifications:
Must have current NC or multi-state RN licensure, listed with the NCBON. Bachelor s degree in Nursing
or Allied health required, Master s degree preferred. Quality management experience preferred. Ability to
communicate well, verbally and in writing. Ability to negotiate effectively, ability to remain objective, ability to
maintain confidentiality, ability to listen well, and ability to be proficient in use of computer software: Meditech
Word, Excel and Access. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English, and follow oral and
written directions.
