Airgas USA, LLC., a subsidiary of Airgas, Inc., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, & specialty gases & welding supplies, is seeking a ROUTE DRIVER to join our W Palm Beach Medical team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Route Driver position will deliver products to businesses, as well as industrial and medical gas customers on a scheduled route.

* This is a very physical job that is labor intensive, so the ideal candidate will be required to load, deliver, and unload straight-truck containing compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hardgoods for delivery to the customers on the scheduled route; make 5 20 delivery stops per day; and be able to work in inclement weather.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualified candidate must have:
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* 3 years of verifiable driving experience
* Class A or B CDL w/ Hazmat endorsement & air brakes (NO EXCEPTIONS)
* Clean MVR / driving record
* Be able to routinely handle up to 100 lbs
* Forklift experience
* Respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be at least 21 years old
* Understand highway traffic signs and signals
* Basic computer experience or knowledge a plus
* Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public.
