The preferred candidate would assist in the oversight of the Company’s corporate accounting and internal & external reporting and projects. /span br span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br /span B Primary Responsibilities /B br ul
li Assist in managing the monthly close; reporting; and technical accounting guidance /li li Manage all aspects of the month end close process including the preparation of the financial reporting package /li li Partner with the Technical Accounting and Reporting team on the assessment of complex accounting transactions and the implementation of new accounting policies. /li li Assist in drafting the company’s quarterly and year-end financial statements for a possible IPO /li li Document the major processes and controls necessary to comply with SOX/Internal Control requirements and procedures related to business accounting/finance practices to ensure timely and accurate reporting /li li Prepare policies and procedures that will enhance internal controls /li li Assist in the management of the annual external audits of the Company /li li Assist in various other projects (e.g., automation of the Company’s stock plan and reporting) /li /ul
B /B br B Requirements /B br ul
li Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /li li CPA and public accounting experience preferably from a major public accounting firm /li li Solid understanding of GAAP; knowledge of lease accounting, partnership and consolidations /li li 7+ years’ experience of relevant experience, preferably a mix of corporate and start-up experience /li li Oracle experience and system implementation /li li Proficient in MS Office (Excel; Word; PowerPoint) /li li Excellent written and verbal communication skills /li li Ability to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex legal and financial transactions /li li Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment /li li Must be results-oriented and ability proactively communicate on-going issues to various team members at all levels /li /ul
