PM II, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

Salary Range: 7

Summary: Leads, organizes, designs, implements and monitors reporting and planning solutions with the aid of business intelligence and analytic technologies. This work ranges from the architecture (including the designing of data models) through to providing business intelligence reporting solutions and analytic capabilities (including all integration to and from the data warehouse along with its related Master Data management needs).

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Identifies opportunities across the corporation for business intelligence solutions and implements end to end from requirements gathering to deployment
Analyzes business and functional requirements working with stakeholders to define target SAP BI/BW solution architecture
Responsible for all technical aspects of the data models and reports including current and future state
Extract from and into the data warehouse from disparate source applications using different ETL technologies and related master data management
Analysis, design, and implement of SAP BI backend components and integration with BEx or Business Objects for front end reports and dashboards.
Designs processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issue.
Participates and leads research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes), as subject matter experts, when introducing new technologies
Manages the delivery of business intelligence solutions with a focus on data management and business intelligence architectures
Serves as technical owner and point of contact for domain specific solutions
Works with other technical subject matter experts and Data Manager to develop flexible reporting architecture utilizing SAP BW and Business Objects that will meet both immediate and long-term business needs.
Develops DSO s process chains, cubes, BEX queries, Webi s, Dashboards
Develops functional specifications with cross-functional groups that address potential data sources, business and performance metrics
Administers the processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value
Assists Data Management Manager with managing business intelligence project expectations, and ensures the consistent execution and quality of delivery

Skills & Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
7+ years of SAP BI experience, including 3+ years deploying SAP BI on HANA and 3+ years of ABAP development
General understanding and technical expertise of enterprise-class ETL/BI tools (Oracle BIEE, IBM Cognos, SAS, Informatica, SAP/HANA, Tableau) with deep understanding of SAP HANA and BI products
Deep understanding of HANA architecture, modeler, and SAP BI suite - including Analysis for Office, BOBJ and Dashboard and Lumira
Technical Experience in billing and customer service systems with project management skills preferred
Familiarity with AGILE/Scrum development preferred
Experience in the Utilities Sector and its related SAP business content preferred
Proven ability to work effectively as a member of various teams in a matrixed environment, which may include company personnel, project resources and third-party/outsourced vendors.
Deep analytical experience and understanding of information technology processes
Must have experience with data testing, report writing and data management
Must have experience with requirements gathering and documentation processes
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
Solid communication and relationship building with cross functional technical teams, technology vendors and key stakeholders in the business required
Demonstrated an aptitude to learn new technologies required
