SAP Business Analyst (Spanish Speaking) Tracking Code 7094 Job Description RRD is looking for an SAP FICO team member focusing on business analyst and support work for our Latin America operations. The position of business analyst is responsible for gaining an understanding of our business needs and using SAP capabilities to develop functional solutions to business problems. We are looking for candidates that have a background in accounting, extensive SAP experience, and an understanding of some of the unique challenges inherent to Latin American accounting. Must be fluent in Spanish. Responsibilities * Act as the primary contact for Latin American SAP users and liaison with other members of the SAP team * Primary contact with the business users to develop additional FI and CO functionality * Lead projects to implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them into effective solutions * Participate in new functionality design analysis and testing * Create design and training documentation for new functionality and projects * Lead training sessions with users on new functionality * Define application requirements by reviewing requests and conducting user interviews when needed * Monitor and report on delivery of what was promised * Gain user approval by developing system prototypes to present to users for their review * Participate in project planning by providing estimated hours and target dates for all project related tasks before development begins * Communicate project status by creating written status reports on a predetermined schedule for large development efforts * Participate in project management by managing small to medium size projects from definition through implementation * Responsible for the configuration and daily support of the SAP FI and CO modules that are already implemented with a focus on AR and related functions * Provide first and second line support for user issues * Assist users in determining the best method for data reporting, either via standard reports, table downloads, ABAP query, or customer program * Troubleshoot user issues; create functional specifications for custom programs; document business process procedures; create training documentation; conduct user training; configure the system for new functionality; conduct testing of new configuration or custom programs; support loading of new master data or changes of master data * If necessary, research in SAP OSS and implementation of OSS notes * Mentor users and teammates on FI related to Accounts Receivable and Collections. Required Skills * SAP configuration in FI (GL, AP, AR, FA) and CO (PCA, Cost Centers, IO) * Experience with MM, Purchasing, SD, or PP is a plus * Program design and testing including requirements gathering * Training development and delivery skills * Good written and verbal communication skills * Solid understanding of basic accounting * Understanding of Latin American taxation * Strong problem solving skills, organizational skills, and communications (written and oral) skills Required Experience * Candidate should posses a 4 year degree in computer science, business, accounting or related field * Minimum five years of SAP R/3 Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) configuration and implementation experience: * SAP FI/CO configuration knowledge in A/P, A/R, GL, and FA * SAP FI/CO configuration knowledge in CCA/PCA * Knowledge of integration of FI/CO with other SAP modules * SAP Business Intelligence experience * Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations * Deep understanding in financial business processes * Functional knowledge of common Financial interfaces or programs * Experience with Latin American taxation, including VAT, Withholding, and the various interfaces with governing agencies (e.g. eNota Fiscal in Brazil) * Experience with SAP ECC 6
