JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SAP Functional Analyst - Finance and Controlling (FI/CO)
The SAP Functional Analyst reports to the SAP Project Manager and is responsible for supporting all requirements related to the implementation of SAP at required plants. The individual works closely with the SAP Project Manager, business users, other IT resources, and consultants to meet required objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
. Supports the FICO module and associated SAP functionality.
. Analyzes business practices, recommends application design, participates in installation, configuration, documentation, testing, training and implementation of SAP related applications and customizations.
. Works with internal customers, external consultants, IT Applications staff and other stakeholders to identify requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solutions.
. Participates in the planning, development, maintenance and configuration of systems.
. Participates in the development of functional specifications for programmers and developers related to modifying functionality, report development, outputs and interfaces. Coordinates and/or participates in the planning and execution of application testing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
. Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year College or University; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
. 3-5 years of experience with SAP ECC 6.0 configuration in the area of FI/CO. Knowledge of how these areas integrate with SCM Procure to Pay Flow, SD Order to Cash Flow and PP Plan to Produce Flow is required.
. Experience working hands-on with the business or a background in the accounting of a lean manufacturing business environment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Preference given for SAP, APICS, or other relevant certifications
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
. Production Order Costing/Material Cost Controlling
. Project Management skills
. Process Improvement and the ability to understand business challenges and have the ability to translate into solutions
. Outstanding written and communications skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with the business and IT are essential
. Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
. Need to have strong documentation skills, ability to help train internal end-users in functionality
. Configuration of SAP FI, CO with some SD, PP or MM modules
. Experience working with SOX compliant company
. GRR3 Report Writing
. Experience with Hyperion
. Ability to manage global initiatives
Average 50% and up to 100% travel for implementation projects.
