SAP Manufacturing Core Lead
Acts as SAP Solution Architect for his/her modules, educating the business on proper use of functionality and what the long term plans are/should be for the application.
Works with the business to help develop a Center of Excellence (COE) around the SAP application and how it is being utilized/matured.
Helps to coordinate go-live activities, change control, Helpdesk transition and post production support.
Works to decrease and become less reliant on contractors for KTLO (keeping the lights on) activities and comes up with transition strategies that can be successfully executed.

External Additional Requirements
10+ years of combined business and configuration experience
in SAP (MM, PP, WM/IM). Expertise in MM and PP is core requirement. Core MM Requirements Manual and Automated procurement (direct/indirect/contract),
RFQ and bidding process, sourcing (source lists, qty and value contracts), Purchase
Requisitioning aligned with release strategy. Logistics invoice verification
(LIV), P-card procurement, and scheduling agreements along with integration
with FICO. Knowledge of FAR Requirements will be nice to have.Inventory Management (IM) Inventory warehouse management to support demand requirements.
Experienced in internal and external Goods and stock movements to support Vendor Managed Material, transfer postings, cycle counting, inventory valuation from a Storage location perspective.
Warehouse Management (WM) -- Complete WM configuration support Storage types, with bin selection, with picking and put-away strategies, must have experience with integrate with materials management, product planning, quality management and sales and distribution.
Other skills include ITS mobile and RF Scanning, Print output
determination.QM Quality Management Complete QM configuration which
should include the definition of inspection plans and inspection based on demand. All characteristics and
notifications against a product or vendor.
External Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Project Systems would be nice to have.
Aerospace & Defense Experience is preferred but not required.
Understands SAP best-practices, business processes, operational procedures and the relationships between PP - MM - WM- IM Modules.
Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing SAP processes and puts forward realistic recommendations/options to help elevate business operations maturity.
Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to Coach and Mentor junior team members.
Ability to be flexible in a dynamic and maturing environment where not all processes are laid out.
Analytical ability to synthesis processes, data and reporting on metrics.
Demonstrated ability to communicate well (both verbally/written) across all organization levels.
A working knowledge of project management/ability to stay organized, maintain project plans, mobilize resources, etc.
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications and propose/put forward the right solution for the business.
Must be authorized to permanently work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
