Job Description
We are seeking an experienced individual with exceptional sales enablement skills and strong background in alliance marketing to join NetApp's SAP team. This individual will be an integral part of the global team focused on NetApp-SAP activities. A strong understanding of the IT market, proven alliance marketing success related to SAP, outstanding communication and relationship management skills in a high technology, dynamic environment will be crucial to success.
Essential functions include:
-Define, create and manage global sales/pathway enablement programs to drive stickiness for joint alliance solutions specifically for the SAP market (training, account mapping, etc.)
-Take a lead role on global events specifically targeted at customers, joint pathway partners and direct sales teams.
-Work with the regional marketing teams to position alliance solution offerings to the internal sales force, partners, prospects and customers. Work collaboratively with the Global Systems Integrator (GSI) team on sales readiness activities.
-Provide strategic guidance and content to the geographic teams. Produce when needed, alliance focused sales enablement assets including alliance quick reference guide, alliance presentation, etc.
-Generate awareness for the alliance. Develop NetApp and alliance partner communications plans. Promote alliance activities; leverage alliance partner and NetApp programs and vehicles.
-Facilitate joint reference asset development (success stories, case studies, etc)
-Work collaboratively across NetApp & constituencies to maximize impact of the alliance.
In addition, this individual will be a champion for the alliance inside SAP & NetApp, they will be involved in overall alliance planning activities and in touch with the needs of our pathways. They should be proactive in identifying ways we can grow and enhance the alliance enablement activities to increase sales in the marketplace.Job Requirements-10+ year's minimum experience working on technology or alliance partner programs. SAP is a plus
-Prior management and development of alliance program activities in support of sales goals
-Prior work experience teaming with product development, sales and marketing groups to include partners in joint solutions and programs.
-Prior work experience with partners to market join solutions.
-Prior experience in identifying ways to grow and enhance alliance partnerships
-Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
-Organized, process oriented, and able to multitask.
-Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and limited supervision
-Able to apply broad expertise and technical/industry knowledge to solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given time, budget and resource constraints.
-Demonstrate leadership and vision in determining and driving strategy decisions
Direct experience with a technology vendor and/or SAP is highly desirable.Education and ExperienceCollege degree in Marketing or Business required, MBA preferred.
