TITLE: Production Technician 2, TEST FOCUS FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt, Full Time
REPORT TO: Production Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY: GATR Technologies has an immediate opening for a Production Technician 2 focusing on antenna testing and maintenance with the following credentials and experience: Candidate will work as part of a team to produce individual components making up the GATR inflatable satellite system. Achieve optimum use of program of record computing and networking equipment by performing needed installation, training, and problem resolution for hardware and software associated with ongoing programs of record. Responsible for configuration, installation, and quality check of network server hardware, operating systems, and management devices. Overall responsibility for loading of assets with production work orders and processes.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
SATCOM experience required
Military experience preferred
Networking experience preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Technicians may be trained to perform any or all of the following:
Build and assemble components from detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
Route, wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components
Conduct antenna system functional testing
Document antenna system performance
Conduct antenna component testing
ALL PRODUCTION PERSONNEL ARE EXPECTED TO:
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times with minimum supervision
Identify and report non-conforming components both in writing and verbally to supervisor
Maintain production facility to incorporate ISO standards
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to use a personal computer and skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong knowledge of SATCOM fundamentals and basic network management
Working knowledge of RF, analog, and digital lab test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters etc.
Excellent organization skills
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have the physical flexibility to kneel, squat, and bend
- Must have the manual dexterity to perform precision fabric assembly and integration tasks
- Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime, as required.
