SBIRT Behavioral Health Specialist I

JOB SUMMARY:
The SBIRT Behavioral Health Specialist I provides assessment and brief treatment of patients identified through screening for substance abuse. This position completes GPRA on each patient identified and follows up with patients completing the initial GPRA. The SBIRT Behavioral Health Specialist also participates in a team approach to screening and brief intervention in connection with a federally funded Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Program.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse
-Valid Indiana Operators license
-Addiction counselor certification or licensure preferred Full-time Days
