JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Description
The Spaceport Command and Control System (SCCS) Software Automated Test Engineer is responsible for translating documented system-level and software-level test procedures into test scripts and other test products using Robot Framework, Sikuli, Selenium. Also responsible for developing test scripts and using automated test tools to aid in the software test automation process, conducting tests, and documenting results. The Software Automated Test Engineer is responsible for documenting developed test scripts/products, and adhering to configuration control processes and procedures for software development. Other duties as assigned are also required. Must be willing to work extended hours and perform shift work as needed for overall team success. Must be ready to hit the ground running.
This is a temporary position for around 6 months.
Must have proven experience in design & development of automated testing scripts and/or automated test tool development. Demonstrated experience in Robot Framework, Sikuli, Selenium are highly desirable. Experience in other scripting languages (e.g., perl, bash, csh, ksh) is also desirable. Familiarity with real-time command and control systems, LINUX, AIX, and UNIX is a plus. Must be ready to hit the ground running.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering is desired along with relevant experience in test automation.
Software Engineer level 5 requires 10+ years of experience;
Software Engineer level 6 requires 15+ years of experience.
