Versar is seeking a Senior Level Contracts Administrator in our Springfield, VA office who has at least 7 years of cradle to grave contract administration experience.

Overview:

Provide full life-cycle contract management support for the business group; ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

Provide contract administration, working with internal and external customers to meet shifting requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepare and negotiate contracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and task orders in accordance with Corporate policies and statutory/regulatory requirements. Ensure language and process uniformity that limits exposure to unintended risk.

Develop and establish ongoing relationships with government counterparts. Support a Relationship Management initiative to build stronger ties with our clients.

Provide timely strategic problem solving and consultative support

Assure quality and timeliness of work product, and satisfaction of all internal and external customer contract requirements

Collaborative role with other functional groups to support effective contracts management and other company initiatives.

Prepares special reports and analyses as required

Stay informed of company-wide activities, industry trends, contract issues and customer relationships to provide insight and advice that protects and advances Versar s success

Support process improvement initiatives.
Requirements: A Bachelor s degree in business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, with additional training in contract law and five to seven years of government contract administration experience are required.

Substantial knowledge of federal and customer contracting regulations, policies and practices with requisite skills to provide accurate interpretation and implementation advice to leadership and staff

Knowledgeable in the administration of all contract types to include GSA task orders.

Highly motivated with good organizational, mathematical, analytical and reasoning skills and the ability to multi-task

Adaptable to a fast pace changed environment organization.

Persuasive and professional verbal and written communication skills to identify, communicate and implement business solutions to customers, staff and management.

Possess experience and judgment to productively interact with internal and external customers to identify and resolve risk and performance issues

Proficient in using standard MS Office Programs Must demonstrate initiative, self-reliance and autonomy, with the judgment to know when to take the lead, when to involve others, and how to set priorities
