Job Description

The Site Manager for Human Resources is responsible for partnering in the transformation of human capital practices that support the changing climate of healthcare and the strategic imperatives of Meridian Health. S/he serrves as a change leader/administrator and assists in the identification, design and deployment of new and measureable HR services & solutions at the site and corporate level. Also responsible for planning, scheduling and managing all levels of services within the human resources department at Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Community Hospital. S/he will coordinate specific projects and activities as assigned and manage the day to day human resources operations for the hospital.

Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
[Desired education]
Master's Degree in related field preferred.
[Minimum work experience]
Minimum Eight (8) years' leadership experience in Human Resources required, preferably within both Healthcare and non-healthcare environments whose organizations are complex with at least 750 team members. Strong overall HR generalist background with particular strength in team member relations, recruitment & selection, employee engagement and process improvement.
Familiarity with working in an integrated HR delivery model. Strong project management skills and ability to assume project leadership role.

Demonstrated Problem Solving, Decision Making skills and Analytical skills. Must be capable of assessing organizational needs and HR services and products and suggesting alternative solutions to drive peak performance. Possess a personal presence characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and attributes of Meridian Health. Must display good verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Strong presentation skills to assist with delivery of training and development. Strong personal presence and outcome focused. Strong creativity and innovation skills, self starter and transformational leader who is seen as a change agent to bring HR further in its journey of strategic partnership. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications required. Thorough knowledge of human resource laws and concepts. Metrics/ROI assessment abilities.
