AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking highly motivated former
military field-grade officers with senior staff
experience for high visibility positions supporting the
Joint Staff Force Structure, Resources and Assessment
Candidate will use extremely high-level subject matter
expertise (SME) and advanced technical
knowledge/analysis in areas including national security,
international relations, and CONOPS development to
provide sound military advice to senior DoD decision
makers. Effectively use human interaction skills to
engage Service staffs, Office of the Secretary of
Defense, Combatant Commands, and other Joint Staff
directorates on a daily basis to build consensus on
issues. Use critical thinking skills to synthesize
qualitative data from a broad range of sources in
response to a wide array of challenges facing the future
joint force. Provide results to the customer in the form
of technical reports/briefings, studies and related

* Candidates must possess a Top Secret (TS) Clearance
based on a Single Scope Background Investigation
(SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
* Current SCI access is a plus. Retired Field-Grade
Officer with a Masters Degree from an accredited
college or university in defense-related
* Must posses extensive knowledge of the Joint Force
as demonstrated by education and/or experience.
* Completion of Command and General Staff College is a
