DETAILED DESCRIPTION
- Job Functions and Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle and will tailor the PM Framework based on the scope and complexity of each project. The PM will organize and manage all control gates, security approval processes, documentation, and deployment processes. The candidate is expected to have extensive ability to clearly present information; read and interpret information; interact with customers or stakeholders; listen well and work through others to obtain results. The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer services to develop strong customer relationships and facilitating communication within the development team, senior management and customers/stakeholders. The PM is expected to perform general administrative duties and to maintain current project management job knowledge. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated officer with a strong IT background and will be required to work closely with technical partners. The selected candidate must possess a good mix of both technical and programmatic skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The Project Manager shall work with their Manager and other representatives to achieve the objectives of the project they are assigned to. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the specific project(s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. The PM is responsible for all aspects of the project including cost schedules, documentation preparation and customer interaction; Ensures that all control gates are met on schedule; Performs organizational wide integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems; ensures that the project team members are fully utilized or are made available to support other projects to meet the requirements. Qualifications:
Experience managing engineering or development projects. This category includes but is not limited to the following roles:
Contractor Program Manager, Project Manager, and Business Process Manager.
- Strong facilitation expertise with experience and comfort with managing small to very large groups through complex concepts/issues
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present in front of large audiences
- Experience working with stakeholders at various levels and functional areas
- Strong writing and presentation development skills, with an ability to produce high
-quality deliverables created through collaboration
- Excellent analytical skills to uncover root causes to issues
- Has the capability to communicate technical concepts to non
-technical team members.
- Experience providing executive level briefings to share results of accomplishments
- Experience developing metrics to measure success of process improvement initiatives
- Knowledge and understanding of various project management approaches and methodologies (e.g., Project Management Framework (PMF) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Strong track record of positive customer and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with Primavera (formerly TeamPlay) for tracking and planning project progress
- In depth knowledge and experience with USG Information Security policies and principles
- Prior experience with a Central Services Program (Working Capital Fund)
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile Methodology Job RequirementsEducation, Skill, and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science or related discipline required
- Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, business processes, and USG Program Management Framework (PMF)
- Experience with the following:
10+ Years of Requirements analysis, definition and documentation, Systems integration, Risk management, and Configuration management
- PMP Certified
