SQL Programmer

P We currently have an immediate opening for a STRONG SQL Programmer /STRONG for our corporate client located in Atlanta, GA. This will be a 6 month + contract. /P P The STRONG SQL Programmer /STRONG will be responsible for reading and translating business requirements and producing medium to high complexity TSQL code that will meet the customer's requirements. /P P The STRONG SQL Programmer /STRONG will coordinate activities in the following areas: /P UL LI Work with Business Analyst team to help finalize business requirements LI Develop medium to highly complex projects that involve data feeds reporting, data translation, or Back End database for web solutions leveraging SQL Server 2000 or 2008 LI Creation of DTS and SSIS Packages LI Work with project lead to help finalize design for assigned projects LI Create and review handover of project with project lead LI Review lessons learned on all customer projects in front of peers LI Migration of SQL Server 2000 databases to SQL Server 2008 /LI /UL P STRONG Requirements: /STRONG /P UL LI Bachelor degree in Computer Science/related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience LI Yrs exp = 3-5+ in systems analysis and application programming development, experience with state of the art application development support software packages, some supervisory experience preferred.
