EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Master's degree in business or healthcare related field. Five - Ten (5-10) years related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma required.
Drives continuous quality improvement by leading, facilitating, and coaching process improvement teams utilizing a standard metric driven approach such as Lean Six Sigma.
Coordinates the selection and monitoring progress of projects that will yield substantial improvements to the organization.
Leads Value Stream Analysis that include process mapping, data collection, system analysis, problem solving, & testing solutions, implementation and control planning and tracking.
Perform Project Management activities that include project team development and success. Implements, coordinates and/or manages projects that are assigned by the Lean Sigma Director.
Establishes measurements, techniques to gather data, and use of appropriate statistical tools.
Helps develop & foster a culture of Lean Six Sigma by collaboration & support of a performance excellence culture. Provide Project Management leadership by mentoring and/or coaching team leaders through their projects* life cycles and effectively communicates potential and identified barriers within projects.
Develops and provides needed performance improvement training (equivalent to Green Belt and Black Belt from Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Rapid Cycle Improvement, SPC, etc.) as assigned. Facilitates and manages Lean Six Sigma knowledge transfer across the organization.
Develops and prepares reports that measure the effectiveness of improvements & provides management visibility to such improvements. Collects and analyzes quality and operational data and extracts and defines relevant information: interprets data for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project probability of desired outcomes.
Leads & facilitates rapid improvement events and/or kaizen events. Dynamic, flexible team player with demonstrated ability to lead and develop others. Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
Measures the effectiveness of improvements & provides management visibility to such improvements through tracking and roll up reporting. management to help improve operational effectiveness.
Promotes a responsive, supportive environment through work behaviors that demonstrate a service excellence orientation. Models professionalism by addressing others with appropriate actions and appearance; work in the spirit of teamwork and trust; conducts self in professional manner and maintains professional boundaries in working with others.
