We are focused on the discovery and development of first-in-class therapeutics for metabolic, renal and cardiovascular disease. Tricida is led by a management team with an accomplished and proven track record in discovering and developing new therapeutics, with extensive experience in building successful companies around strong science and unmet medical needs.

Summary:
We seek an outstanding analytical chemist to join our Analytical Development team. The chemist will be responsible for performing analyses by following established methods, as well as assisting with development of methods for impurities assessment and characterization. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of chromatographic techniques used in drug development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including quality control, quality assurance, process development (drug substance and drug product), regulatory and clinical operations.

Responsibilities:
Perform analysis by following established analytical methods
Evaluate and improve existing analytical tests
Analyze, interpret and present analytical data at team meetings
Troubleshoot method, hardware and software issues, as well as maintain laboratory equipment (log books, inventory of consumables)
Author analytical test methods, protocols and reports
Characterize reference standards for drug substance and related substances
Review data and related documents generated from analytical testing at CROs/CMOs, if required
