Job Description
STATISTICIAN
Abbott Laboratories, located in Lake County, IL seeks a qualified statistician. Resp. for statistical aspects of clinical studies in in vitro-diagnostic product development. Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or a highly related field is req’d w/at least 1 yr of exp. in the statistical aspects of clinical studies w/an academic or industrial background in linear mixed effects models, repeated measures analysis, advanced experimental design & analysis (multifactorial analysis of covariance, randomized block design, latin square, etc.), linear regression, classification methodologies (logistic regression, etc), bootstrap method, in addition to theory of estimation and hypothesis testing & use of SAS software.
