JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager of the Medical Contact Center, the Health Connection Call Agent is responsible for answering calls from consumers and patients and providing them with access to UK Healthcare. Responsibilities include providing physician information for referrals; forwarding calls to appropriate clinics and departments; providing consumers/patients with specific information and literature; making outbound calls to select patients; registering patients for healthcare events; replying to UK Healthcare web requests; providing directions to patients/consumers; answering calls for Kentucky Children s Hospital.

Multitasking, typing, attention to detail and excellent communications skills.
Responds quickly to all caller and web requests exceeding the expectations of each and every caller.
Speaks in a pleasant, courteous voice using excellent grammar.
Ability to follow scripting with each call interaction.
Accurately collects and enters all data into database with 100% accuracy.
Facilitates all requests from inbound/outbound calls in a timely manner.
Makes sure the Loop is closed with exceptional outcome for caller/patient.
Possesses proficient computer skills, including MS Office and chat software.
