JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Provide first tier support for all clinical applications.
Ensure quality services are delivered and performed and ensuring customer expectations
are achieved or exceeded.
Provide accurate professional advice and support throughout in relation to the support of all
Demonstrate ability to work with Physicians to support the roll out of the clinical applications
Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact well with diverse end-users and IT
Work independently and able to independently and successfully troubleshoot and resolve
clinical application problems
Demonstrates ability to grasp basic concepts of the Clinical Information System in order to
support Go lives
Demonstrate ability to participate in testing activities by running test scripts and
documenting results during installation and upgrade activities
Demonstrate effective oral and written liaison communication
Ability to act as an effective liaison between the end user and the Clinical Application
Ability to be a useful member of the testing team by bringing forth issues and ideas to
improve the overall roll out of clinical systems
Assist in the training and induction of new staff into the Application support team
Develop and maintain Application Support standards and procedures and other
documentation as required.
Follow established change management procedures
Develop and maintain up to date documentation on all implementations
Other duties as assigned
Willing to assume on-call responsibilities as and when needed
Demonstrates strong organizational core values
Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years hospital based IT experience or 2 years clinical experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Obtaining Epic proficiency is a requirement.
Clinical/Medical certification or experience preferred.
