Well-known company here in Riverside is aggressively seeking a Safety Coordinator/Human Resources Associate who demonstrates excellent knowledge in Workers Compensation and all aspects of Safety within the facility. Will be responsible for entire Workers Compensation program and assisting with the Disaster preparedness program with guidance from the HR Manager. Will need to be able to formulate safety policies and procedure to be followed by the company in compliance with Local, State and Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Will also be responsible for the oversight of monthly Safety Task Force Meetings, minutes and agendas. Will need to be confident in assisting in controlling open claims and recommend changes that may lower premiums and/or experience modification rates. Professionals need to have 2-4 years of experience in Workers Compensation and/or direct hands on experience with safety programs.
