As a Safety Services Representative you will visit motor carriers to conduct pre-quote investigations, assess current operations for safety consciousness and loss prevention practices, report findings and coordinate activities with our Underwriting Department. You will also design, schedule and conduct safety meetings and seminars for our insured carriers and their drivers. This position will be out of our Western Regional Office in Boise Idaho. To succeed in this position you need to have:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related experience.
* Minimum two years professional level experience in motor carrier fleet safety, operations or safety consulting to the motor carrier industry and/or as a truck insurance safety professional. Work Comp/OSHA Safety experience a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Willing and able to travel extensively.
* Willing to work irregular hours/days including some Saturdays.
