Job Description


The Account Manager reports to the CEO and is responsible for managing company customer relationships through the implementation of new sales techniques and recommending product/service enhancements.

Major Areas of Responsibility

* Maintain customer relationships

* Carry out sales policies and procedures

* Manage projects

Specific Job Duties

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

* Develop and execute sales strategies for related customers

* Communicate with customer on a daily basis through phone and email

* Report to customer or company on urgent issues that may involve production, quality, or a change in customer business

* Review open projects and take necessary actions to ensure smooth operation

* Review RFQ on a weekly basis and determine SOP

* Discuss proposed customer quotes with engineering

* Conduct general reporting such as KPI report and expense reports

* Be a Sales 'Closer'.

* Support and participating in forecasting and budgeting activities

* Key point of contact for all possible issues related to the customer, including first response on issues

* Support and participating in forecasting and budgeting activities

* Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

Essential Functions

* Proficient in English with excellent written and oral communication skills

* Valid Driver's License

* Working independently as well as with a team

* Ability to travel frequently


* Education/Credentials/Certifications

* Requires at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area

* Master's Degree is an advantage

* Length of Experience

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and sales management

* Sales management experience in manufacturing preferred

* Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Knowledge of trade and negotiations

* Knowledge of crisis management

* Understanding of best practices for sales techniques

* Deep financial understanding, especially regarding terms and discounts

* Ability to think long-term and anticipate long term effects
