Location Springfield VA
Global Steel Company looking for a Sales Administrator.
The Sales Administrator supports the Sales team and provides customer service, general office administration and inventory management (including management of purchase orders, invoices, and stock). The ideal candidate will be assertive, self-motivated and highly detail-oriented with close attention to accuracy.
Answer incoming calls.
Enter, edit, invoice and pre-bill all non-rental sales orders.
Maintain sales orders (including: file creation, adding new customers and shipment tracking, manual work orders).
Handle non-freight vendor requests regarding payment status.
Assist Sales team with invoices, recaps, and resolving discrepancies.
Handle exceptions to month and year-end closing (accruals, running reports).
Determine why freight bills do not have generated accruals due to missing paperwork, etc.
1-3years of Administration experience (construction industry experiencepreferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
BOTTOM LINE REQUIREMENTS WE NEED NOTES ON WITH CANDIDATE SUBMITTAL:
1. 1-3 YEARS OF SALES ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE (CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY OR RELATED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED).
2. PROFICIENT WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, ETC.)
4. BACHELOR\'S DEGREE PREFERRED.
