This is a position within FirstEnergy Solutions (FES), a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FES] The sales group is a dynamic and profit-generating segment of FirstEnergy Solutions. It is critical to the success of the enterprise that the sales group meets and exceeds annual sales and revenue targets. The position is located at the West Akron Campus. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting sales executives, as well as sales leadership, in advancing both new and renewal sales opportunities through the sales process to closure - Assisting in proposal development including:
data input, data analysis, pricing, shop credit calculations, proposal and contract preparation and preparing responses to RFP?s - Understanding of rules and regulations for Electric Distribution Companies (EDC) - Demonstrating a proactive approach, and builds relationships with sales executives and internal support groups to effectively handle any conflict issues - Maintaining a book of business free of risk exceptions resulting from policy and process violations - Having a customer-focused vision, maintaining a positive attitude and remaining focused in a demanding environment - Delivering quality, accurate work within established deadlines
- Bachelor?s degree in Business or related field required - Minimum 0- 2 years professional work experience required with experience in a Business to Business sales role preferred - Understanding of deregulated electric markets and previous sales support experience preferred - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point). Experience in Outlook, PQM, SAP, BRIO and FileNet a plus. - Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, supervisors, peers, employees and channel partners involved in the sales process - Have a tolerance for change; this is an active and fast-paced environment - Motivated, personable, ambitious and to maintain an optimistic attitude - Planning and negotiating skills are key to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
