We at AmeriPride Services are seeking a driven, confident, and industrious Sales Associate!
This is an entry-level position that, while under the direction of a Sales Manager, will be provided with a well-structured sales training that is designed to provide strong knowledge in all aspects of our linen and rental business. The purpose of this training is to prepare the Sales Associate for a successful career in Sales.
As a Sales Associate for AmeriPride, you will learn and demonstrate efficient prospecting skills which lead to acquisition of customers, business, and subsequent results. This position will complete activity reports as required and ensure information around customer activity is documented to drive future business results. Successful completion of job duties will yield consideration of advancement to a Sales Executive role, based upon criteria provided by AmeriPride Services
For this position you must be communicative, confident, and action-oriented.
Sales Associate- Outside Sales
As an AmeriPride Sales Associate, you will be working with one or more of our seasoned Sales Executives, the Sales Associate will learn product knowledge, sales processes, and business development strategies. The Sales Associate will assist in the day-to-day activities within the sales department to ensure corporate goals are met.
Sales Development and Training
Completes sales training - Evolution 360.
Gains insight and knowledge by shadowing a Customer Service Representative to help identify internal sales growth opportunities and a Sales Executive at least one time per week.
Interact with customers and other AmeriPride departments to coordinate the installation of AmeriPride products and services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Partners with Sales Executives to identify day-to-day activities that will seek out, find, and establish new customers. Seeks proficiency with the following key sales activities:
Qualified prospects into database
Identifying opportunities on existing routes
Letters of introduction
Telephone appointment setting
New Cold Calls / Bus. Dev. Calls
Demonstrates effective speaking skills and maintains current up-to-date knowledge on company products and services. Ensures samples and demonstration materials are current and up-to-date.
Ensures standardized sales processes are used to leverage opportunities for efficient development of customer sales and its subsequent impacts on customer relationships.

Associates' Degree in business or related discipline or equivalent business/work experience
Possess a valid driver license, provide proof of insurance and have dependable transportation.
Proved track record of increasing responsibility with documented business results
Preferred Education Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business or related discipline or equivalent business/work experience.
One or more years of business-to-business sales experience.
Inquisitiveness-oriented with strong quantitative analytic skills and an innovative approach to problem solving in a fast paced sales oriented environment
