Develops, implements and administers global sales compensation programs. Performs more complex commission analysis. Serves as an internal consultant to management regarding sales compensation policies, programs and issues. May be assigned to one or more operating units or alternatively lead a project team within Compensation. Understands internal desktop tools and systems required to perform job duties, recommends revisions and/or new tools. Performs requirements analysis or tool development. Develops and documents processes.
Essential Job Functions
*Serves as a sales compensation consultant to management regarding compensation policies, programs and issues.
*Performs more complex analyses of sales commissions and quota crediting and performance.
*Oversees and/or prepares sales compensation reports, programs and other initiatives and presents findings/recommendations to management.
*Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.
*Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
*Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, finance or related field preferred
* Over five years of of sales compensation experience
*Experience working with compensation principles, practices and procedures
*Experience working with commission system preferably Xactly
*Strong analytical skills
*Strong presentation and communication skills for presentation of compensation program/practice recommendations to management
*Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with management and employees on compensation issues
*Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions
*Strong personal computer and human resources system skills
*Strong organization and time management skills
*Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
*Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
*Ability to work independently, as part of a team and lead others
*Ability and desire to actively pursue learning opportunities in the compensation field
*Ability to understand and apply federal, state and local changes and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources
