JOB DESCRIPTIONA fast-growing, entrepreneurial company and leader in professional coding services has a newly created Sales Director position, reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing. The company has a compelling story to tell and is a strong partner to companies who need to drive completion of projects relating to software coding and IT. The Sales Director will head up the sales process, following up on leads for new business and working with current clients. The role will prospect, develop and close all documentation necessary for sales contracts. She/he will work with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions and develop a strong relationship for future business.
Would prefer someone with 12-15 years of experience, selling services in a strategic vertical (insurance, consulting) and a book of contacts such as CIO/CTO or others who could provide introductions to the IT teams that might need their services. The role is preferred to be located in Chicago (would possibly consider LA office) and will lead efforts to convert leads into new clients.
