Job Description:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with a customer’s business issues and objectives, as well as channel partner training & enablement. Having wide-ranging field sales engineering experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix products and solutions. Drives sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. Participates as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities
-
As a seasoned sales technology professional with field experience, provides pre-sales technical support of the sales process across Citrix Products and Solutions.

Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations/Citrix facilities on Citrix products value proposition
-
Has ability to build complex,multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
-
Develops customer requirements that map to Citrix solutions, assists with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerates technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals.

Requirements
-
5 + years plus prior sales engineering experience in a high tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
-
Experience in working with large accounts and selling at higher levels of the organization
-
Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate headquarters
