JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Our objective is to organically develop talent within the Sales function in Rexnord to support our business prospectively. Participants will develop a business oriented, cross functional understanding of Rexnord while learning the fundamentals within the Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. The programs focus is on building the core business and technical skills needed to create the foundation for a successful career. It is a progressive and challenging program that provides associates a breadth of unique experiences in various aspects of Engineering, Sales, and Marketing that will shape you into the leaders of the future. The SEALs candidate will have a Engineering, Sales, and Marketing leader or mentor associated with each rotation and will be assigned to projects and will be held accountable for his/her work.
9-10 month assignment with unique business rotations
Outside / Inside Sales
Develop a broad based understanding of Engineering, Sales, and Marketing that allows the candidate to gain the knowledge and skill base to contribute to the success of our business.
Learn about a culture of continuous improvement and how that drives superior shareholder and customer value.
Work to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller pieces.
Proactively develop and maintain broad knowledge of the technical disciplines in own functional area(s) and applies broad knowledge of trends.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables, compares measurement results to expectations/standards.
Evaluate alternative solutions/decisions in light of the potential impact of the internal/external customer, understands the resource implications of solutions and makes recommendations in adherence to governance
Excellent academic record with a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Relevant internship experience
Travel up to 30%
