Salary commensurate with experience + Bonus incentives - Base plus OTE could be over 200K

Key Points: 7+ years of experience selling enterprise level software and services.
Experience selling to insurance carriers is a must.
Must be willing to travel 75% of the time but work remote.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the SVP of the Life Carrier Division, this position is responsible for generating new sales revenue. This is a pure hunter role calling on new named accounts. This is done via prospecting for new leads, pursuing leads generated from various sources, qualifying leads, managing sales cycles to position a win, and leading contract negotiations.
Target Market - Life insurance carriers and other large entities that process insurance transactions
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/TRAINING
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, and/or related field; related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
. Job Related Experience: 7+ years of experience selling enterprise level software and services
. Experience selling to insurance carriers is a must.
. Broad relationships with key executives in the Target Market preferred
. Skills and Abilities:
. Business-to-Business software application expertise
. Strong understanding of Company's carrier workflow and business objectives, and ability to translate company systems into carrier's solutions.
. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required
. Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence
. Technical skills - Microsoft Office products
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES)
.Develop, promote, and execute sales strategies in assigned accounts / territories that will enable the company to achieve its financial objectives
. Utilize sales methodologies, processes, and best practices to increase the probability of success
. Develop and leverage contacts, build relationships with potential buyers in assigned accounts / territories
. Consistently build and maintain a deep sales pipeline through cold calling, partnering with a Lead Generation Specialist, coordinating with Lead Generation campaigns, attending trade shows and conferences, networking, etc
. Insure data is entered into the Sales CRM system timely and accurately
. Manage expenses efficiently
. Participate in company solution training periodically
. Learn and promote solution differentiators
. Stay abreast of market influences and changes
. Monitor competitive activity and competitor solutions
. Research accounts that have the greatest revenue potential and assign a high priority for establishing relationships in those accounts
. Lead, coordinate, and influence sales cycles
. Coordinate contract negotiations
. Collaborate with other stakeholders on developing and executing sales strategies
