JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a Sales Account Executive with experience in truck brokerage and/or NVOCC salesdomiciled in the Atlanta market. The ideal candidate must be an experienced, self-motivated, energetic individual with a proven history of acquiring and retaining business. The position requires close to immediate production from the start, the primary focus of this position is dry van and refrigerated freight (truckload) as well as NVOCC (exports sales) as well as other modes.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Account Management & Development.
Tactful and intelligent negotiation of rates and services
Provide excellent customer service to both shippers and carriers
Prospect with a "hunter" mentality.
Independently qualify potential sales opportunities.
Negotiations and close the deal
Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
5 years minimum sales experiencein truck brokerage or NVOCC sales.
Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic.
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions.
Effective negotiation and problem solving skills, and ability to handle conflict.
General computer skills- proficiency with MS Office is a must.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment.
