Our client is an international leader in the security software space with over 50 global offices. They are currently in the process of relocating their US Headquarters to the Boston area. In addition to their Security as a Service offering, they also have cloud protection and an innovative solution to provide real-time protection from potential malware and intrusions. The have been in business for over 20years and continue to win against their key competitors through their advanced offerings and dynamic team.
The Sales Director will be a player-coach role, managing a small team while carrying a team and personal quota. The Director will be responsible for recruiting, training and growing the sales team here in Boston from the ground up. In addition to managing, the Director will be focused on bringing on net-new Key Accounts and Channel Partners. Travel as needed to key accounts; in office when not traveling.
* 5-8years of sales management experience
* Experience managing key accounts and client-facing
* Software experience is required; security experience is highly desired
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and budget goals.
