We are midway through an $11M complete guest room, and public space renovation. Our hotel features 316 guest rooms and well-appointed suites, as well as 16,000 sq. ft. of banquet and meeting space. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manger who will embrace and complement both, our service standards, and our new facility. Exciting opportunity to join a high energy team of sales professionals who enjoy the challenge of achieving success! Our new sales manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a blend of market segments based upon your past experience and may include select corporate and association groups. This sought after position covers groups with 10 or more guestrooms on peak night, and is segmented by industry. In coordination with the DOSM, you will develop and implement your own sales action plan and strategy in order to exceed room night and revenue goals. This exciting position is a pure sales professionals dream. You will find that your success is directly correlated to the relationships you build and the outside sales activities you accomplish. With our newly renovated Hotel, along with the historical volumes of business, the need from a pro-active sales professional is paramount. Proactive solicitations, outside sales calls, well thought out site inspections and the ability to entertain our clients will be the driving factors that will make this position successful. Timely and effective communication with our clients, account management and a drive to create new and unique relationships with top business segments will be required. Knowledge of the, local market knowledge and experience in a pure sales environment is not only a plus but something we are very interested in!
