Well respected international Adult Beverage Spirits Company building a solid U.S. domestic team to establish their brands and expand distribution network. We have an immediate need to hire an experienced Sales Manager responsible for the Houston, TX market. The Sales Manager will reside in Houston, based in Virtual/Home office and report to the Regional Sales Director.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Expand distribution in both on and off premise channels
Work closely with the distributor's sales team when identifying and targeting on/off premise accounts
Develop and strengthen relationships with accounts and distributor
Identify market trends and opportunities and create action plans
Identify primary and secondary tier account base and work with the local distributor sales teams
Responsible for developing high-value relationships with key accounts, and train and educate account staff
Execute high-profile events and trade and consumer events
Monitor overall costs of predetermined activities including launch, events, training, seminars, and TandE budget
Implement dynamic promotion actions in collaboration with commercial and regional marketing teams
Assist in the continued successful launch and roll out of adult beverage products in the market
Enhance and strengthen the market share of the brands


Requirements:

Goal-oriented, results driven with customer/consumer focus and relentless drive for success
Very comfortable and familiar with entrepreneurial start-up challenges
7-10 years sales experience in the spirits industry, distributor or supplier side, on-premise/off-premise
Extensive knowledge of the Houston market with strong relationships in the spirits industry
Contribute actively to improve competitiveness and return on investment
A highly-visible local spokesperson with strong territory participation and involvement
Excellent knowledge and passion about the adult beverage, spirits industry
Effectively communicate with wholesale, retail and trade
Strong marketing abilities, including communications, insight, creativity, and innovation
Excellent time management and strong negotiation skills
Must be results driven, self motivated, self starter, organised, persistent and assertive
Possess valid driver's license and willing to travel extensively
