Job Description

This position consists of sales responsibilities for two newly renovated hotels in Nashville, Tennessee:

Hampton Inn & Suites Vanderbilt Elliston Place

Hampton Inn Vanderbilt West End

This position is primarily responsible for direct sales and account management.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and maintain key accounts while finding new business

Effectively execute the value-based sales process

Conduct productive proactive sales calls

Thoroughly saturate accounts

Prospect and secure new business through aggressive telemarketing and direct sales

Maintain orderly and timely sales records

Proficiently delegate appropriate administrative tasks

Familiarity with and effective use of social media along with new technology

Actively engage & involve the entire hotel staff in sales

Negotiate contracts and preferred rates
