SALES MANAGER Sales Managers are responsible for soliciting new and past business for the hotel. Sales Manager will use a variety of tools to solicit business including, but not limited to: cold calls, Internet leads, brand leads and community involvement. As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for managing your accounts and ensuring client satisfaction, working to exceed your clients needs and quickly resolving any issues or complaints. Sales Managers need to have an understanding of the operations departments of the hotel and work closely with the operations team to ensure guest needs are met. Sales Managers should have an upbeat, warm demeanor - a passion for sales doesn't hurt either! Candidates should possess superior communication, negotiation and selling skills. Sales Managers will be responsible for revenues in their particular market or segment, compensation structures are in part based on meeting revenue goals as set forth by the Director of Sales at the hotel. Superior Communication Skills (written & verbal, including phone skills) Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Sales Software Knowledge Perferred (Delphi System) Professional, Warm Demeanor Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time and work well under pressure Minimum 1-2 Years of Sales Experience (preferably in hospitality) Superior Negotiation Skills - Proven ability to close deals Hospitality is a 24/7 industry therefore, candidates should anticipate working weekends and holidays as needed.
