JOB DESCRIPTIONKloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking an experienced Sales Manager.
Manages sales activities of a designated branch by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly; assigns geographic territories to sales staff.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Plan and direct staffing and training, to develop and control sales and service programs.
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other specialty product sales related units.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Bachelor's degree; or a minimum of 7 years of proven sales and management experience, in the metals industry; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Results driven individual with high performance standards of themselves and others; with the ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
