MarketStar's Cisco program has an opportunity available in RTP, NC for a Sales Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for driving incremental revenue in US business. The ideal candidate is sales driven who is proactive, efficient and a self-starter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide marketing support for Inside Sales teams
* Generate sales programs, contests, spiffs, events and marketing materials to increase product sales
* Support the Sales team in preparing and distributing Technical Services quotes and orders using the appropriate tools
* Proactively advocate Services best practices to product sellers
* Communicate and create interest in promotions and incentives to increase Services mindshare with product sellers
* Help train new product sellers on Services knowledge and value
* Deliver consistent reports and tracking
* Provide account managers with order status updates, quotes or other requests
* Maintain in depth knowledge of relevant rebates, promotions and announcements; present to/train team as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred * 3-5 plus years of experience in setting up sales programs and promoting company spiffs/incentives, and contests.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Cisco Services knowledge preferred * Ability to multi-task, be organized and detail-oriented * Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills * Good problem solving and decision-making skills * Must be able to work independently and in teams, with the ability to interact with a wide range of personalities/work styles * Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations
