Sales Merchandiser

Description:
The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for basic
merchandising functions and
communicating with appropriate store level employees on
basic inventory and service issues.
Removes damaged or out-of-date stock.
Replenishes and resets stock.
Consults with store manager when inventory runs low.
May manage inventory replenishment system.
Executes displays and plan-o-grams.
Handles POS and display execution.
Manages customer service and complaints.
Executes pricing and validates store level/retail
pricing.
Sells against distribution voids.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Sales territory is Central/ Northwest New Jersey
Requirements:

Replenishes and rotates stock
Conducts product merchandising, resets
Orders and/or inventories to order, per account
specifications
Removes damaged and out of date stock
Assures merchandising standards are executed in accounts
Executes displays and point of sale
Executes against new products and account sales
programming
Conducts surveys, as needed
Conducts product sampling events
Addresses customer service issues/complaints
Provides superior customer service for accounts
Follows safe work habits
Follows proper product handling and/or rotation
procedures
Must be able to lift 30-50lbs frequently
Must be able to work in cold environment of 40 degrees
and lower
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Valid driver s license required
Capable to work on weekends
