JOB DESCRIPTIONCOMPANY OVERVIEW: A leading supplier of Safety products, PPE, Absorbents and spill kits
POSITION TITLE: Outside Sales
COMPENSATION: $50-$60k Base + high commission potential up to 50% of salary
BENEFITS: Standard Benefits package
LOCATION: Dallas, Texas
TRAVEL: 10% - 40% will increase as territory sales expands
SALES TERRITORY: TX/LA Gulf Coast
Calls on large manufacturers to offer waste reduction programs consisting of cleaning and recycling of personal protective equipment so that the customer can reuse it, thus reducing waste stream and saving up to 60% a year in their PPE cost. Offering reusable floor absorbent programs. Offering cleaning and recycling of environmentally sensitive textiles such as; solvent wipers, stain rags, printer towels and shop towels rentals.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for existing accounts as well as targeting new customers
Schedule and execute sales calls with end users at refinery and petrochemical sites
Must be willing and able to travel 40%+
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years outside industrial sales experience
Hunter mentality - not afraid to cold call
Must be self-motivated, a fast learner
Able to maintain results under minimal supervision
Must be proficient and effective with follow up and proposals
Must be a deal closer
Must have good discipline providing detailed weekly sales reports
