The Sales Representative Partnership will produce revenue through qualification, lead generation, and closing sales for group meeting and event planners from Hilton Worldwide Sales - National Group Accounts within targeted market segment(s). The Team Member will align with HWS Director(s) to support overall account strategy that will meet customer needs and positively impact conversion, drive revenues, increase market share and deliver incremental value to internal and external stakeholders. What will I be doing? The Sales Representative will generate and manage group business opportunities for Hilton Worldwide Hotels. The Team Member will identify customer potential by qualifying account business. The Sales Representative will initiate sales process by understanding customers' requirements and offering consultative hotel solutions for meeting and events requirements. The Sales Representative will establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers (internal and external) through business meetings, telephone calls to key accounts, hotel sales staff, and participation in site inspections as well as ongoing communication. Other key priorities are listed below: * Establish a presence within the assigned market segment by attending tradeshows, customer appointments and/or events * Close sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections and assisting with contract negotiations and/or conflict resolution * Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services * Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts * Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled * Responsible for management, support and response to group customers via email, telephone, Hilton Worldwide Sales System and/or other online/RFP tools * Ensure all daily operational functions of the sales and booking processes are completed smoothly and efficiently * Work in accordance with Directors of Worldwide Accounts on specific customer needs and/or special projects * Achieve individual booked revenue quotas * Participate in hotel presentations and training programs to maintain updated product knowledge and sales skills * Complete special projects as required * Analyze and developing strategies to maximize group revenue potential against business opportunity production volume in order to produce positive results in conversion, revenue and account market share * Submit reporting relating to business opportunities generated, prioritizing follow up on all active business, booked revenue, customer contact, and account activity * Update and maintain sales information records, including account reports, events, history reports, traces, and general account information * Document sales activities through lead and call reports * Use sales systems/applications to enter data and/or process information regarding leads and hotel bookings * Support the department on various projects and targeted initiatives as assigned by ADOS * Represent Hilton Direct in a professional manner at industry organizations, FAM trips and/or internal committees in leadership roles and/or volunteer capacities * Regular attendance in accordance with the standards established by Hilton Worldwide is essential to the successful performance of this position * Any and all other job duties as assigned Relationships: * Hotel Sales Staff - ensure effective follow up and communication between customer and sales team to produce a positive buying decision which positively impacts group revenue/profitability of hotel as well as to improve/maintain up to date knowledge of hotel property/product * Brand Representatives - improve, maintain and gather up to date knowledge of existing Hotels, New Development, processes/procedures to share with customers in order to impact a positive buying decision and revenue production * Hilton Worldwide Director of Sales - improve, maintain, and gather critical customer information on accounts/industry trends that will impact positive buying decision and revenue production * Group Clients/Customer - communicate information which will influence and impact a positive buying decision * Competitors - stay informed of competitive strategies/business conditions and develop alternative strategies to counteract and influence customer buying decisions to be more favorable for Hilton Worldwide Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
