Location: Tarrytown, NY
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm
Status: Regular, Part-Time

Summary
Hitachi America, Ltd., (www.hitachi-america.us) is looking for a Regular, Part-time Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for executing support functions at the direction of senior staff. This position involves involving transactions with external customers, internal HAL departments (IEO, Accounting, Credit Group) and Japan-side counterparts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage invoicing and billing

* Assist Sales team

* Import/Export document creation

* Work with IT and other relevant groups with system set-ups

* Create administrative documents

* Provide support for mailing / shipping

* Manage Calendar/appointment for team members

* Bachelors Degree preferred.

* 3 to 5 years directly related sales office experience or general admin experience.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP a plus.

* Enthusiastic team player.

* Must be detail-oriented and well organized.

* Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and to work in a fast paced environment.
